Dear Colleagues,
Oncology Club Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Chapter of SAARC Federation of Oncologists (SFO) is proud to host the ‘7th SFO International Cancer Conference’ going to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 14 and 15 December 2012.
This two day conference will be designed to make a gathering of physicians, medical physicists and survivors fighting against cancer in the SAARC countries and will provide a wonderful forum for you to refresh your knowledge and explore the most up-to-date information regarding the science and advances in the treatment of cancer, and to meet and interact with the leading scientists and physicians involved in cancer management. Presentations from leading experts, Oral and Poster Abstract, will provide delegates with information on the latest developments in the field of cancer treatment.
A special Young Investigator’s Session and Interactive Session on different common cancers of this region will be arranged in this conference, covering an array of special topics of great interest to young investigators. In addition to an outstanding Scientific Program delegates will be able to enjoy the unique sights and culture of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is a land of scenic beauty. The country is blessed with natural beauty which attracts the tourists. It has the longest beach in the world. It is proud of its beautiful heritage and historical relics. Historically, Bangladesh has earned the reputation of being at the crossroads of many cultures. Bangladesh has always been known as a land full of nature’s bounties as evident from the vast expanses of its lush crop fields, borderland hills thickly covered with virgin forests and innumerable rivers and their tributaries, making it the world’s largest delta. Ancient chroniclers have described it as “a land of emerald and silver”, “a garden fit for kings”, or as “a paradise among countries”.
